Life Sciences 3M03: Cellular Dynamics

Course Description: 

This course focuses upon concepts and research in biophysics to understand Cell Biology.  The course is divided into four modules that each focuses upon different concepts in physics to understand how a cell functions.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course students will be able to:

• Read, interpret, and concisely summarize current research in the field of cell biology
• Understand chemical and physical principles that underlie cell behaviour
• See the importance of understanding underlying principles and models in the study of human health
• Write a research proposal that addresses a novel question in the field of cell biology
